The Joy of
Donors - A Pareto Masterclass
“If you
think you know everything there is to know about raising money from
individual donors, guess again! The results Sean Triner and his
colleagues in Pareto Fundraising have been getting in Australia
will shock the stuffing out of you -- and you'll realize, as I did,
that these young whippersnappers know a lot of stuff that has
somehow eluded me all these years. Don't miss the opportunity to
get acquainted with Sean and the fresh, common-sense way he
approaches fundraising. I guarantee you'll pick up ideas that will
be worth thousands of dollars to you in the
future.”
Mal Warwick, author of How to Write Successful Fundraising
Letters
The Joy of Donors is one of
our most succesful masterclasses ever, and it is coming to Hong
Kong. In the very week Pareto’s Hong Kong clients’ first mail
appeals land we will be offering this unique, free training
opportunity.
In 2006 and 2007 this session sold out in Sydney (Aust),
Melbourne (Aust), Auckland (NZ), Wellington (NZ), Singapore and
received excellent reviews at the IWRM Conference
in Bangkok in 2006. Reserve
your seat
today to ensure you see Co-Founder of Pareto Fundraising
and Pareto Phone, Sean Triner, repeat this interactive and
productive workshop in May before he disappears off to
presentations in London, Frankfurt, New York, Washington, South
America and Australia.
This comprehensive free Masterclass features
international award winning case studies, real results and lots of
practical tips to take back into your work place. In turn it
will help you to raise more net income for your organisation. It
will also include new learnings and exciting developments from the
online and tele-fundraising world.
The session is ideal for anyone involved with running
fundraising, campaigning or communication programmes, and those
working closely with fundraising (i.e. bosses, PR, CEOs, board
members, data people, customer care staff etc). Please click

Masterclass Details
- Session 1:
Individual Donors in your Fundraising Mix: We’ll look at planning your
fundraising strategy as well as the strategic context for
individual fundraising in the fundraising mix and how individual
giving is fuelling growth for charities. Also we will show how
‘silo fundraising’ is bad news and show the basics of true
fundraising integration and building a Supporter Relationship
Marketing program. The use of mail, electronic media and the
phone are crucial in making this work.
- Session 2:
Hyper-Personalisation: Building on the first session we show how
the use of gathering and recording data will lead to highly
individualised letters and in turn more net income for your
charity. This session was dubbed as ‘Hyper-Personalisation’ by Mal Warwick who has said he has
never seen anyone doing something like this in the charity
world.
- Session 3:
Developing your communications: This last session pulls on all the
learnings from the day to construct your very own donor
communications strategy. Again, very, very
practical.
“I wanted to write and
thank you and the entire staff at Pareto for your efforts and
energy yesterday. It was such a brilliant event and great base of
knowledge.”
Kallie Blauhorn, MFIA, Fundraising Relationship
Co-ordinator, Very Special Kids, a previous Joy of Donors attendee,
Melbourne, Australia.
What you
need to know:
Who’s the
speaker?
Sessions will be led by Sean Triner,
the Strategic Director and co-founder of Pareto Fundraising, Pareto
Phone and Pareto Works. Sean is a highly experienced speaker who
has been invited to address fundraising professionals throughout
the world. Sean is inspiring, challenging and entertaining.
"Sean's presentation skills
were outstanding - Sean is lively, well informed and his style of
presenting ensures that interest and motivation is high - this is
quite rare as I attend a lot of workshops. A great session for
people working across all forms of fundraising such as regular
giving, direct marketing and bequests."
