Meet the Production and Support Team

Meet the Production and Support team E-news updated.png

Pareto Fundraising’s production and support team work largely behind the scenes to keep the company running smoothly. In charge of scheduling, copywriting and financial matters, our clients may not always realise they are there, but would soon know about it if they weren’t.

Jim Birt

Where does Jim live? Sydney, Australia

What does he do? Operations Manager

Jim joined us in June 2007 as a Production Manager, and within a few hours became completely indispensable. With more than a quarter of a century’s management experience gained in the printing industry, he is the motor that keeps things ticking over smoothly at Pareto Fundraising.

Jim was attracted to Pareto Fundraising’s because he recognized a mutual desire to not only make the world better, but to be the best at what you do. For him, working with a wonderful like-minded team with a passion for fundraising is what makes the working day a pleasure.

Drew Jaadla

Where does Drew live? Sydney, Australia

What does she do? HR Co-ordinator

Drew Jaadla joined us as a Production Executive in April, 2007. A former customer service representative, she now does a terrific job keeping everything running smoothly at Pareto Fundraising. In February 2008, she has also become our HR Co-orindator helping Pareto Fundraising find the best brains in the industry.

When not working hard to make the world a better place, Drew loves to keep fit, play competition basketball and go to concerts and the theatre – all the while closely guarding her special secret, which is that she is a natural blond.

Rory Moore

Where does Rory live? Sydney, Australia

What does he do? Business Manager

Rory’s our Business Manager, which in his own words means that he “Oils the wheels of industry by making sure all financial, HR, OH&S things are in place and the company is enjoying good governance”.

It sounds like a highly responsible job, and it is. Which is why we are grateful to Rory for doing it so proficiently. It’s wonderful to know that, whilst Pareto Fundraising’s account teams and creatives dedicate themselves to raising funds for others, he’s busy behind the scenes making sure we don’t run out of our own.

With a background as diverse as his remit at Pareto Fundraising, Rory’s made a success of himself in an enormous number of professions. In his time, he’s been a book publisher, a film producer and worked in the telecom's industry. A true polymath, he is perfectly suited to the varying demands of his vital Pareto Fundraising role.

Kristian Steffes

Where does Kristian live? Belgium

What does he do? Senior Copywriter

Kristian joined Pareto Fundraising as a Senior Copywriter in December 2005, but has been churning out powerful creative for our charity partners as a freelancer since January 2004.

Deciding from the outset to resist the lure of corporate big bucks in order to write for the charity sector, Kristian is proud that his words and ideas have helped to raise millions of dollars for dozens of extremely worthy causes.

An accomplished playwright and composer, Kristian learned the fundraising trade in the rough and tumble of the highly competitive UK market. He is still based back in the old country, where he works as Pareto Fundraising's very own night elf – magically turning our creative briefs into polished fundraising products whilst the rest of us sleep.
