Pareto
Benchmarking
by Fiona Paterson
We currently have 18 charities participating in the project and
are on the lookout for more organizations. Unique to the Australian
market, Pareto Benchmarking is an in-depth data lead approach to
assessing your fundraising programme. Based on fact – not
opinion or interpretation – your data is reported using exactly the
same criteria and our unique segmentation and scoring system to
measure each charity equally.
With a focus on Australian fundraising techniques and
approaches, Pareto Benchmarking ensures your donors’ behaviors are
analysed based on how they give – for example, we don’t mix your
regular givers with your lottery players or cash only donors.
Current clients include Amnesty International Australia,
Anglicare, Australia For UNHCR, Australian Conservation Foundation,
The Benevolent Society, Children’s Cancer Institute Australia,
ChildFund Australia, Children’s Hospital Westmead, Christian Blind
Mission International, National Heart Foundation, The Cancer
Council New South Wales, The Lost Dogs’ Home, The Wilderness
Society and WWF Australia.
Round 4 of this unique program is about to get underway with
entrants data required by January 18th – there is still time for
you to come on board for this round but be quick because we need to
hear from you before Christmas.
Results for round 4 will be released in late February. And Round
5 will be open in February for new entrants wanting a practical
method for helping you to measure your current performance against
other charities.
